The Tempers have released their noir new music video for "Strange Harvest" and it is an eerie affair with artistic black and white footage. The NYC duo, comprised of Jasmine Golestaneh and Eddie Cooper are slated to release their Fundamental Fantasy EP on February 24th via The Vinyl Factory, which follows their debut full-length album Services.
"'Fundamental Fantasy' is about exploring the creative scenery of romantic illusions," the band says. "Our need for them, how we justify them to ourselves, that moment when the imagined story line collides with reality."
The music video for "Strange Harvest" ties in with all of these themes and more, with it's cinematic and alluring qualities. The backing track features Golestaneh's haunting vocals, reminiscent of 80's post-punk icons, and a depressingly seductive melody.
