Not much is know about this mysterious new group, New Mystics but they seemingly are looking to transport listeners to a somewhat forgotten time. With their debut release "Sparrows", this folk act aspires to bring back the familiar sounds of the '60s to a modern music culture that may be craving a stripped down, non electronic based experience. It's hard to listen to "Sparrows" and not feel a wave of nostalgia wash over you. This is the type of sound that would easily make it's way into any past, present or future Wes Anderson movie soundtrack with the song's resemblance to music from the likes of Neil Young and Donovan. Do yourself a favor; take a break from the overly produced sounds of now and check out the track below.
