Ra'Shaun is an emerging 20 year old rapper/singer/songwriter hailing from Madison, Wisconsin. He takes influence from J. Cole and PartyNextDoor, and you can hear both of these influences on his newest track "Focus". This is a track with potential to blow up from an artist who could have a bright future making music. This laid back, catchy song sounds like it bears additional influence from Travis Scott but puts a slower, more meaningful spin on any song Travis might have. This song is unique in its melodic style and proves Ra'Shaun has already began to successfully make a lane for himself in the hip hop scene. The flawless production from Ghxst only aids in the blow-up potential of this new track. Check it out here:

Ra'Shaun might not be on every hip hop head's radar, but he will be soon. The man has been hard at work, from dropping his Kolors EP in August of this year to opening up for Felly this upcoming January. Ra'Shaun will be continuing to tear up stages across the country, starting with his hometown on December 11th. He will play a show with Trapo at the Magestic Theater; I'd advise anyone in the Madison area not to miss this one. To solidify his name he must continue to kill shows and put out music to help the new wave of Wisconsin artists gain the ground they deserve.
