Island Records ran a competition to find the brightest talent in the United Kingdom to accompany rapper Angel Haze on her tour through the UK. An aspiring rapper named Vision won this competition and got a head start on his career. For the past two years the Gloucester-born rapper has been writing, developing his sound, and perfecting his craft. Vision's debut single, "Heartless" finally arrives today. This track combines spooky, bass heavy production with rhythmic, dark flows to tell a story of a fading relationship and a feeling of emotional freefall.
Vision says the track is about "the many levels of emotion – anger, longing and self-ruling when reminiscing about what you once had". This song proves that Vision could be on his way to making a name for himself through his ability to engulf the listener in a wave of emotions.
