Andrew Okamura is best known as one of Moving Castle's co-founders and additionally produces under the moniker of AOBeats. With a killer collective to back him up and some quality tunes up his sleeve, AOBeats is absolutely a force to be reckoned with in the scene. He has a diverse musical palette, dabbling in uncanny trap beats to smooth and bright future bass takes. AOBeats has also taken an alternative route through his side project SWIMS with producer/singer Sakima. This project takes a more sultry future R&B route, exhibiting silky vibes in hip hop inspired beats and smoky vocals.

In the producer's latest, he takes on Benta's "Lover in Dark", originally an almost sinister but sexy indie tune with a hypnotic waviness weaved throughout. In AOBeat's rendition, he recreates the track but injecting sophisticated drum work to fill the sound. The deep bass is pumped up along with sonic serrations to audibly trip listeners out. The dwindling nature and fluctuation of pitch of the work create an interesting sense of delusion with it's tactful layering. The work is a prime example of AOBeats beautiful ability to add dimensionality to a work through his signature sound.
