After announcing the imminent arrival of a new album, deadmau5 joined Pete Tong on his iconic BBC Radio 1 broadcast last night to talk about the album's formulation and debut a new song. As we've seen, deadmau5 has been spending a lot of time on his live show, and admitted last night that he had to approach W:/2016ALBUM in a new way, sitting down to create music in his downtime.
He also premiered "4aware," which is a perfect reintroduction to his style. A lighthearted progressive track, its depths are futuristic and of course, technical.
