This past summer, Cobi's single, "Don't You Cry For Me," was a hit., and track became number 1 on the Spotify Viral Top 50 chart. Cobi's luck continued to change for the better when 300 Entertainment's CEO and founder Lyor Cohen heard "Don't You Cry For Me"and signed Cobi to a deal. Now that Cobi has joined the company, who also represents artists like Highly Suspect and Fetty Wap, he is primed to take the industry by storm.
After much anticipation, Cobi has released his latest single "Prophet Story." The song originally debuted on Billboard's website. "Prophet Story" is another soulful track from the indie crooner. “This song is about a prophet who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders," says Cobi. "He's often treated like a vagrant, an outcast from society.” Cobi will be touring the U.S. with Above & Beyond this fall.
