It’s always striking when two artists are able to meld their sounds together for a seamless collaboration. With BOT, the co-founder of Main Course, and Matthew Anthony, label head of Perfect Driver Music, both known for their bass driven, funk tinged house music, such a partnership was bound to produce something special, and with their Oh I Know EP out today on Perfect Driver Music, that’s exactly what they’ve done.

Bot and Matthew Anthony set the tone for the title track, “Oh I Know,” with a strong beat and a bouncy, crisp percussion. Soon enough, a heavy bassline enters and provides the perfect groundwork for the recurring distorted vocal loop “You think I don’t know,” which ends up defining the track as BOT and Matthew Anthony expertly weave in the ever escalating mid-range.
