Rising "brat-pop" act HOLYCHILD caught our attention with their lively debut album The Shape of Brat Pop To Come, which featured hit singles like "Happy With Me" and "Running Behind." Last week, they released their follow-up EP, America Oil Lamb, which boasts an impressive array of collaborators including Kate Nash, RAC, Mereki, Tkay Maidza, MS MR, and Kitten. The EP shows the evolution of their brat pop sound and expands into realms of alt-rock and r&b while still holding the snarky and bubbly whit of brat pop at its core. One standout track is "Power Play," featuring RAC which features gritty synths and an aggressive energy that feels like you're barreling down a highway at full speed. It's an edgier angle of their typical pop sound and it works very well for them. Check out the video for the first track "Rotten Teeth," ft. Kate Nash below. The video was shot in Mexico City and directed by HOLYCHILD's own Liz Nistico.
