Amid Romania’s developing club scene, Vinyl Speed Adjust has come through as a promising duo. Originating from the capital Bucharest, the two are now Barcelona based. Commencing production in 2011, they’ve seen releases on labels Visionquest, and Pressure Traxx, and earned support from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos.
Valentino Kanzyani has locked Vinyl Speed Adjust in for their debut on his label Jesus Loves You. A wax release with two original tracks etched on it. Eddy and Levii start with “Expozed” where eerie and woozy sonics are overlaid with a brooding bassline. Vinyl Speed Adjust flex their percussive muscles again on “Slow Down”, incorporating punchy kicks with innovative synthesiser washes.
