The allusive producer ZHU has been tantalizing listeners with his unique blend of house music and pop structures. His debut EP Nightday, which was released in 2014, earned him a grammy a nomination and saw salacious remixes from artists like Odesza, Lido, The Magician, Big Gigantic, Amtrac, and Tâches. This summer, the immensely talented artist is adding more fuel to his incendiary career with the release of his highly anticipated debut album WHY via Columbia . Today, he released the title track from the record, “Generationwhy.” It's beautifully orchestrated, delicate, ominous but uplifting and an intoxicating summer anthem. ZHU never ceases to expand and engross the listener with his forward thinking music. 2016 has already been an insane year for album releases, but we have a feeling that his debut album will be sitting near our top 25.
