Saint Agnes is a group of London-based Satan-worshipping rockers who know how to put on a proper performance. The four part band is made up of Kitty on keys and the vocalist, Jon, playing guitar, Ben behind the bass, and Andy shredding his drum skills. Together this exciting group is an impressive blend of specialists who each equally add a special sound. Saint Agnes’s last gig in London was put on by Time Out Magazine in preparation to build hype for their next big show on June 17 at Hoxton Square.
Sister Electric is set for release on June 17th with Death or Glory Gang Records. The record will be sold as a limited edition vinyl seven inch, lathe-cut on forty year old machines saved from a Karaoke bar in Tokyo, incredible! The single will be released on clear vinyl, and each copy comes wrapped in a unique, hand-drawn sleeve. The desire to bring back vinyl needs not just the record, but a distinguishing charm, which Saint Agnes have done wonderfully.

"Sister Electric" is right to the point, as the first fuzzy notes hit you. There is a groovy guitar line that excites the listener in a shockingly sexy way. The voices are mean and memorizing with just the right amount of punk attitude. The track is not for the faint hearted because it goes into overdrive with smashing guitar sounds. Lead singer Kitty Austen explains,
"Sister Electric was summoned into being with a ritualistic invocation. She is the embodiment of that feeling you get when you listen to your favourite song and become a thing possessed… We cast spells on vintage microphones, invoked demons with a 50's junk shop Kay guitar and called to higher female powers with screaming harmonica. The Sister has been summoned. And she is among us."
