Lost Village is forming a new path for camping festival experiences

Have you ever wondered what it might be like to get voluntarily lost in a forest festival? Where every turn you make brings you into a stranger realm of fantasy figures and unearthing experiences? Lost Village may be your answer, as the hidden event takes place in Lincolnshire’s over grown and ancient woods. From May 27th tell May 30th, a small scale festival of just 5,000 people attend this special setting.

Headliners include British DJ Fatboy Slim, a popular act this summer across festival lineups, but a skilled enough artist to always bring something new. Jack Garratt will be playing, a singer/songwriter originally from Buckinghamshire with a uniquely gentle voice. Mano Le Tough will be showcasing his skills as a deep house guru specializing in darker and minimal sounds. Scottish producer and happy hardcore DJ Jackmaster will be making his second performance for Lost Village as well. The full lineup schedule for all three days can be seen below.

The camping extension frequent among British festivals is essential to a longer span of happy days (and nights). To be able to wake up amidst the action without having to worry about transportation to and fro is key to a good experience. What better way to spend an outdoor festival then hidden away in the woods? There are limited options for boutique and caravan options, but hitching up a tent is automatically included.

An intimate festival in the woods may seem strangely appealing, but without knowledge of how to arrive, one may find themselves dazed and confused. Fortunately, Lost Village isn't too hidden in England, since there is clear signs on the A46 coming in. If you're arriving by train, then Newark North Gate station has shuttle buses going to the festival grounds between 10am and 10pm Friday to Sunday.

Additionally what makes Lost Village such a special occasion is the extraordinary activities offered to attendees, like a banquet lunch and dinner on the first night. There will also be a bass camp market selling goods over the weekend. The amount of colourful and mysterious characters to be found at the Lost Village is initiative in it's own right to go. Curious yet? Just watch the after-movie from last year to get a glimpse of what life is like at Lost Village.
