Seminal live electronic artist Todd Terje & The Olsens have announced details behind their forthcoming album release. The group, known for a quirky and unique blend of world funk and retro electronica, will release The Big Cover Up on June 17th via Olsen Records. An LP comprised of deep disco cuts from their extensive and rare vinyl libraries, The Big Cover Up will include covers (and remixes) of artists like Yellow Magic Orchestra, Martin Circus, Boney M, and Vangelis.
Today they uncovered the first track from the album, the Billboard-charting 1958 hit "Firecracker" from Martin Denny/Yellow Magic Orchestra. The album comes ahead of a tour, and is available for
