Sean Turk really hasn't been in the game that long. His first track, released last month, was this bomb rework of DJ Snake's "Middle" which impressively reached #3 on HypeMachine and currently sits at 129K listens on SoundCloud. Not bad for a first release.
Aptly hashtagged #BedroomBass on SoundCloud, Turk's new remix of Australian singer Vanessa Elisha's "Midnight Swim" takes the original, broody trap-infused track and gives it a more upbeat, heavily future bass sound.
While the original track spends its time simmering in dark sounds and a slower tempo, Sean Turk decided it was time that the song deserved a more motion-driven rework. The final product still puts the spotlight on Vanessa's vocals, which are accompanied by a nice thumping bass, but Turk also wastes no time in making things more energetic; when the drop lands, it's an exciting combination of future synths and a fast-moving snare.
You'll be hearing of Sean Turk more in the upcoming months- he's been in the studio working on more remixes to appeal to our eager ears.
