16-year-old singer/songwriter Billie Marten from Yorkshire, UK has been releasing some pretty impressive stuff lately. Her debut EP released via Chess Club (home of Chet Faker, MØ) last year received critical acclaim and she recently performed at SXSW while juggling exams and recording her debut album.
Released last week, Marten's new single "Milk & Honey" is a whirlwind of dreamy guitar chords, serenaded by Marten's achingly delicate vocals. It's a lovely track that will surely send chills down your back for its songwriting prowess is beautifully simplistic and melodic.
