Ibiza visitors travel far and wide to take part in a Monday night pilgrimage visiting Amnesia, all for Sven Väth's Cocoon party. The event is now in its 17th year of hosting the white island's first proper weekly techno night, and defining the spirit of morning carry-ons.
Cocoon will be bringing new firsts with it this summer. 2016 entails the longest season ever of 19 weeks, and the most dates with the main man Sven playing. From the opening on May 30th through to the closing party in early October, Papa Sven will deliver 15 sets, including three all night long sets, two on the terrace and one in the club room.
Names and dates are now locked in and revealed. Italian maestro Ilario Alicante is in for seven appearances, while Cocoon regulars Ricardo Villalobos and Adam Beyer will play six dates each. Ladies Nina Kraviz, Sonja Moonear and tINI are each down to play four times.
During the Grand Opening in May, Sven Väth will play on the beloved terrace, joined by Dixon. Ilario Alicante, Gaiser with a live performance, and Slam will take to the club room.
