Having recently been introduced to Culprit through his recent Audiojack remix, Whitesquare is back on the LA based imprint with his first full EP. On remix duties for "Something To Say" is the London based techno and bass purveyor Citizenn.
Weighty kicks synonymous with Citzenn's signature sound let you know straight away that you're in store for a deep, dark warehouse anthem. The tension is palpable, with whispering cymbals and sinister bass stabs edging you towards the monstrous growls that lurch from beneath the records surface. The slick vocal sample brings a broader level of accessibility to proceedings, looping before you're thrown into the pounding body of the record.
We've loved hearing Citizenn's production progress over the years, he's managed to mature his sound immensely whilst staying in touch with the elements of his production that gained him so many fans in the first place.
