One of electronic music's modern-day pioneers, Mason, had a full-on comeback in 2015, one that looks like it's still going strong into 2016. The Dutch producer behind "Perfect Exceeder," and now the Nite Rite series, appeared as a key player in Mark Knight's Toolroom Records's Miami compilation. Though ahead of Miami Music Week these compilations are a dime a dozen, Mason worked with Yolanda Be Cool to offer a unique collection of tracks and exclusives on Poolside Miami 2016. Outside of mixing the album, Mason also lent himself to one of the exclusives, and it's one of the best we've heard this season. Taking on Las Vegas-based Mighty Mi's collaboration with Grand Puba, "Shake With Me," Mason has created a house track with seasonally-appropriate warmth, and worldly, regionally-on point Latin flare. A laid back sunset track, it also appears with his original "Do The Do."
