CRSSD is back again, and Colour Vision is prepping with "Piña Electrique" [Premiere]

As we all expected, the ever so successful San Diego festival CRSSD is back once again for their Spring 2016 debut. The festival takes place March 5th-6th, and features the likes of Gesaffelstein, Gorgon City, Tiga, Odesza, Sacha Robotti, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones & more. One of those "mores" is none other than Colour Vision, who you might remember from here.

The San Diego producer adds this track to his International House of Sound's CRSSD Compilation CD, we're just on point with bringing you the first sound. It's quick, light, and embodies the spirit of San Diego's finest festival. When we asked him about how this first track came together, he said:

"While living and working poolside residencies in Palm Springs, I linked up with house legend Richard Grey to collaborate on a single that blended our styles and "Piña Electrique" ended up coming together! This track has been a secret weapon in my crate for almost a year now and the official CRSSD FEST compilation seemed like the perfect place to unleash this tropical/ indie dance hybrid. You can bet that i'll be giving it a proper debut at my set in a few weeks at 'The Palms' stage with a Piña Margarita in hand."

If that doesn't ruffle your festival feathers, then I don't know what will. This event truly does kickoff festival season, and my past presence at the first two CRSSD Fests has shown this is the perfect flavor to kick your musical palette into gear.

Colour Vision is definitely on my list to see, so make sure to grab your ticket here, and listen to "Piña Electrique" below:
