Minor Victories is the all-star collaboration between Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite, Slowdive's Rachel Goswell, Editors' Justin Lockey, and James Lockey of Hand Held Cine Club. The group has been teasing a release for a while, but today the self-titled album got a premiere date: Fat Possum / Play It Again Sam will release it on June 3. With that news comes details of more collaborators; Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon and James Graham of The Twilight Sad will make appearances. The epic music video for "A Hundred Ropes" is below, depicting a slow-motion Samurai ambush.
