Brighton-based Yonaka emerged on the pop/rock scene with debut single "Run" approximately half a year ago.
Today, the quartet are prepared to unveil a powerful follow-up called "Ignorance" (released via Hometown Records) that (somehow) makes "Run" pale in comparison.
The single drifts dynamically with heavyweight pop hooks one moment and punky, guitar-driven rock the next. It's a diverse offering, one that allows vocalist Theresa Jarvis to assert "Ignorance is not bliss to me" with full-fledged attitude.
Seemingly, "Ignorance" is a tough act to follow, but if anyone could pull it off, it'll be Yonaka.
