On “Mind Yo Bizness,” you can definitely hear Green Velvet’s Chicago house influence. The tone is set with a crisp, bouncy percussion and a funky synth line, providing the perfect groundwork for vocals, which are perfect blend of each producer’s respective style.
Claude VonStroke’s own influence comes through on “Snuffaluffagus” right from the beginning. A crisp, bouncy percussion and strong beat keep the track going from below, while lighthearted synths are juxtaposed against pitched down, dark vocals, giving the track a uniquely DIRTYBIRD feel.
