Today, we’ve got a look into one of our favorite things over here at EARMILK: a new label promoting, even better, a new artist.
Named for one of Dutch production trio Kraak & Smaak’s biggest records, Boogie Angst is a label working with funky new talent. To celebrate the 10th release from the imprint, they’ve welcomed L’ENFANT, a live production duo made up of brothers Oscar and Thomas Peters. Building their music brand upon multidimensional music from 6-piece band support and electronic production, their first official foray into the musical release world is with their Marius Aquarius EP.
The title track from the EP features moody electronica that can be described as everything from indie, to retro to avant garde. With more work coming in for the rest of 2016, “Marius Aquarius” is a great introduction to L’ENFANT.
