It's always exciting when an established label such as 20/20 Vision launch a new imprint. We'd like to give a warm welcome to 20/20 Editions. The first artist to be showcased on this exciting new project is the talented Romanian duo NTFO. This weighty 4 track EP is arguably their finest material to date.
Title track "Represent" sets the tone for an extremely bass heavy release. The production is clean and fairly minimal with dense kicks and crisp snares complimenting the sinister bass line that gallops the record forward. Next up you're reclined slightly by the atmospheric "Deranji." Satellite esque synth keys and a black hole exploring bass line create a feeling of low gravity while the lively hats create enough energy for the dance floor. "Calabrena" splashes some much appreciated colour on the release. The juicy bass line works in tandem with a hypnotic rhythm that leaves you no option but to dance. Last up is the menacing "Lagioale" that finishes the EP on a slightly techier note than the previous tracks. The tribal percussion and no nonsense bass line create an irrepressible dark groove perfect for the after hours sets.
