THEY. recently gained attention after being featured in ZHU's highly anticipated Genesis Series EP in "Working For It", alongside Skrillex. Since then the LA-based duo has released an impressive intro EP, Nü Religion, featuring slick vocal work and a distinct sound overflowing with badasssery. The duo is signed to the carefully curated label, Mind of a Genius, which roster includes distinguished producers ZHU, Gallant and most recently Klangstof. THEY.'s recent EP clearly stems influences from varying genres from lo-fi rock to a darker style of R&B, proving variation is what keeps new music raw and interesting. Several tracks in Nü Religion have already been remixed by producers esta, GENER8ION and J-Louis.
Gravez decided to step in to show the world his own take of THEY.'s "Motley Crue". The rising Atlanta-based producer flips the track giving it a subtle trap vibe with it's sharp kicks and provoking drum work. This "Motley Crue" remix is met with a pleasing thumping bass that pulsates throughout the track. This heaviness creates a hazy atmosphere for the track and easily will put listener's in a daze. Gravez's remix gives THEY.'s "Motley Crue" a unique fluid sound that entails a murky yet sultry attitude. Listen to the remix below.
