Record label and cutting edge artist collective Fête just released a new tape titled 1AM, and if you are a fan of Sam Gellaitry or anything Soulection based, then this is for you.
It took them a long time to put together this tape as they believe this is the ultimate gathering of humble, talented musicians. "Over the last few months our A&R team has taken dozens of tracks into consideration to curate an eccentric selection of music from around the world," they explain. Not only are we hearing what seems to be an above average ensemble of sounds, we're going international with this release. The nine-track LP features artists you may not have heard of, but for me that is all of the fun behind it. The best part is that each and every song was compiled & executive produced by Robert Augustine & Abhi Janamanchi, giving the tape that consistent flow throughout. Bravo all around.
