Sneaking in a few more tracks as 2015 came to a close, producer Sllash is one to watch as we jump into the new year. He made one of my personal favorite Adele “Hello” remixes and earlier this year released his first full-length album inspired by some of his remixes that took the dance floor by storm. One track not to miss is Sllash’s remix of Midi Culture’s “Hey Hey” which Epic Tones Records dropped last week.
Midi Culture starts off with a killer original “Hey Hey” by treating Total’s “What About Us” to a sexy, deep house makeover complete with groovy bass line and vibes galore. Taking things in more of a tropical deep house oasis direction, Sllash chops up the 90s R&B vocals and gets steamy with this production. He just tweaks the sexy vibes up a notch making “Hey Hey” that much more of a moment on the dance floor. Check out both versions below and find them out now.
