Grammy-nominated producer Mat Zo has given fans a special treat in honor of the holidays and new year. 2015 has been a quiet year for the British producer, seeing few official releases, including collaborations with The Knocks and a remix of longtime friend and collaborator Arty's "Stronger."
Zo looks to set the tone for 2016 with this free download, posted on his Soundcloud just yesterday. Always a fan of the edgier and the harder sounding, his latest is a bootleg (and homage to) the iconic rock band Smashing Pumpkins, taking on their 1995 track "Zero."

This bootleg is one where it's hard to imagine how two styles – house and grunge rock – will combine, before having a listen. But once you do, you'll understand how easily the styles play into one another.
