Get ready to drift away to the ultra-smooth synths of Capyac done Falcon Punch. The Austin-based electronic pop duo Capyac has been stirring up some buzz this year with their live shows and eclectic style. Their new EP features three tracks and a few remixes, including this sleek “Speedracer” remix courtesy of Denver’s Falcon Punch.
With the original version of “Speedracer” packing these sinful and sweet R&B vibes, Capyac laid down the perfect base for Falcon Punch’s Avery Henderson. He’s been known to send us sailing into the melting sunset with his signature style of nu-disco and soulful pop, and we can expect no different here.
This remix seems a bit simpler in comparison to some of the other Falcon Punch productions, but the breezy pace and easygoing nature leads us to a lovely saxophone solo to get the mood just right.
