On November 12, 2015, iconic rapper Missy Elliott returned with her first new music since 2008. The track features Pharrell, and alongside an over the top entertaining music video, is in an updated, but completely Missy style. The internet exploded over her return, looking forward to see what's next.
But before we hear anything new from Missy herself, we know that fans will rush to this chance to have a new record from the icon to remix. One of those is Ryan Collins, an LA-based producer who has released music via labels like Perfect Driver in the past. This week, though, he's been quick to jump on "WTF (Where They From)" and remix the track into a UK garage-influenced dance floor burner. Using snippet of samples throughout the track, Collins has brought house groove together with the infectiousness of Missy's signature hip hop style.
