PREP is a bit of a mysterious figure, and it's true, there's not much information about the UK-based band, although information that it's a four-piece with previous experience working with the likes of Drake, Foxes, Raleigh Ritchie, Eric Prydz, Klangkarussell and Sub Focus, has been released to the press. It doesn't matter though, because if their last two tracks (including this newest one) are anything to go off, they'll be the perfect artists to take us away from the coming winter months with their addictingly sunny vibes.
It's hard to know exactly what makes PREP so different than the rest, but something about the perfect blend of pop with a touch of nostalgia make them absolutely delightful. Separate from the tropical house movement, PREP manages to create an individual sound that's got a hip hop girl like me pining for more. Overall, if this doesn't feel like the warm sun going down after a fantastic day out on holiday to you, it sounds like a you've got a personal problem.
