2015 is proving to be Kins' most crucial year yet, having released their acclaimed Cyclical EP back in July as well as having announced their second full-length LP, due out 2016.
In anticipation of that second LP, Kins began a 'single series' this past October that promises fans a new single every month. The London via Stockholm foursome kick-started that very series with the gripping "Most Definitely".
Today, Kins have continued on trend with November's offering entitled "Charlie". The track is like nothing before, and quite possibly is the most endearing of Kins' discography. It's wonderfully lukewarm in its ambiguity between the lightness of Thomas Savage's vocals and the darkness of looming synth and pounding percussion. "Charlie" is grim yet delicately sugar-coated, finding a sweet, unusual spot at the core of both pillars.
