After the artist defining release, Lil' Nic French, on Hot Creations last year, Jey Kurmis is welcomed back with wide arms to the Jamie Jones & Lee Foss imprint with "Chlomissa." Taken from the 4 track EP Kari, which also features an edit from Jamie Jones himself, it's already garnered supprt from the likes of Eat Everything, Patrick Topping and Waff. It's clear that the Leeds-based producer is hitting the right notes with the right people.
The bouncy bassline lets you know immediately that it's going to be a high energy affair with exotic percussion and abstract cut up vocals creating a unique atmosphere. As balearic rays start to shine through the record's layers, the Egyptian-esque synth takes you by the hand to build sky-high pyramids on the Ibiza shores. This is a straight up party anthem and you'll be able to purchase it yourself, along with the rest of the EP from November 13th.
