Dutch production trio Kraak & Smaak are always changing up their game, and they never seem to disappoint. After a streak of brooding and darker-tinged house tracks, this latest track from Kraak &Smaak takes us back to the funky feel-good of the 70s and 80s.
“My Mind’s Made Up” features these wonderfully soulful and slinky vocals from singer Berenice, who has performed live with the group. Complementing Berenice’s voice are a whole host of analog synth sounds, a fat bass line, and a guitar lick that will have people thinking of Nile Rodgers (and his Chic influence that trickled down to Daft Punk).
