Redlight teams up with ASTR on "Me & You" ahead of new album release

Redlight sure knows how to create hype around a project. The UK-based producer's London and Bristol-influenced house and electronica has become somewhat of a legend amongst underground fans, all ahead of the release of his debut album X Colour. Debuting three consecutive singles from the album as "Hottest Record In The World" by BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac, and releasing yet another g-house funk burner "Metronome" just two weeks ago, it's almost hard to conceive that there was any additional effort needed ahead of the project's November 13th release.

But we were proved wrong this week with the release of another track from Redlight, this time a collaboration with New York City indie elctronica duo ASTR (who just released their Homecoming EP today). "Me & You" is another demonstration of Redlight's versatility in his production, with the track bringing a summery infectious melody to the usually fully underground intention of his records. ASTR's vocals are the perfect complimentary lead to his instrumental production, making "Me & You" one of the more radio-friendly tracks we've seen so far from what we can expect from X Colour. Check it out below and pre-order X Colour here.
