We've seen Felon rise onto the radar from true crowdsourcing. The UK trio made up of Archie Ward, George Renwick and James Levey aimed their productions together to tap a special brand of bliss landing somewhere between electronica and dance music, did so with their track "Isla," which not only landed them viral notoriety but also features in promotional videos for the Ibiza lifestyle, as well as a big following.
Today the guys have unveiled their latest work, one that is quite seasonally appropriate and a huge departure from their summertime fun house tracks that we previously recognized them for. Progressive, entrancing and layered with brooding melodic synths, Felon demonstrates their production ability, maturity and versatility in "Burglar Bill." Ebbing and flowing between musical genre boundaries throughout the song, "Burglar Bill" almost creates a persona for its namesake, feeling organic and powerful.
