LA has sprung onto the global electronic music scene largely in part by its native artists' use of pushing boundaries creatively. We've seen artists push boundaries, allowing many to receive various musical accolades from their international colleagues. The LA-based group GITCHII proves this even more so with the deliverance of their latest EP titled Bussa Shot. In this studio effort GITCHII steps up and takes their sound to greater heights utilizing many outside musical extremities creating a highly unique project in the form of Bussa Shot.
In this 4-track EP,GITCHII differentiates themselves from their past productions that many have come to adore such as their remixes for electronic heavyweights like Major Lazer, Tourist, and their Beyoncé bootleg which went viral to score a humble 1.2 million views.. With tracks like "Bussa Shot" and "Put It Down" it's visible how they've managed to blend their trap-toned stance with a layered variety of modernized dancehall. While each individual track has its own unique identity sound wise, this EP represents their ability to push creative boundaries artistically and use many foreign elements sonically to influence their native studio sound, creating a spectacle of music in the form of Bussa Shot.
