UK producer Genix joined us earlier this year for a mix celebrating the release of his single "Makoto," a track that demonstrated his chord-driven melodic style. Since then, Genix has released music on labels spanning the trance and progressive gamut: VANDIT Recordings, Ultra, Anjunabeats and Armind. The latter, a division of Armada Music driven by bigger trance sound, welcomes Genix back today for his second release with them for 2015, entitled "Kaktus."
"Kaktus" shows a different and beautiful side of Genix's production. It's layered, multidimensional, and features techy elements while all the while keeping us invested through emotion and infectious energy. Premiered on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance episode 735 this week, "Kaktus" is now out via Beatport.
