Chrome Sparks has taken no time off since remixing Porter Robinson's "Worlds" which was released in a compilation EP earlier this month. He is now back with the first single of his highly anticipated EP Parallelism. Inspired by a background in classical percussion and an obsession with synthesizers, Malvin creates dazed, melodic beat-centric tunes that loosely hang between down-tempo head nodders and up-tempo club bangers.
In his latest studio effort "Moonraker" he doubles up on the production effort and utilizes a vast array of synthesizers, field recordings from a family vacation which he took in Machu Picchu last year along with sampling the vocals from a friend Karlie Bruce. Chrome Sparks illuminates your inner love for electronic music in "Moonraker’" by slowly introducing you to some funk-like keynotes which is backed by his immense skill on the piano, then abruptly slides into a full on futuristic soundscape with some analog bass convulsions ending with a backdown drop-tempo. The Parrallelism’EP will be released November 3rd of this year on Future Classic. Meanwhile, enjoy this single below and download it through Beatport.
