Sometimes, you just want to lose yourself in the beat, in a journey on the dance floor. Next Tuesday, September 22nd, Liverpool’s very own James Organ is giving us such a journey with the release of his Be Yourself / Work The Edge EP via Brobot Records, an imprint of Size Records that prides itself on discovering some of the newest talent. As a rising star of the underground scene recently picked up by Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records, James Organ fits the bill perfectly, and with less than 300 SoundCloud followers, he definitely has a lot of room to grow his fan base. With more releases like this, I am sure that it will.

Organ sets the tone of the B-side track “Work The Edge” with a light yet forceful beat, some crisp percussion, and understated synths. Distorted vocals fade in and out while some tight snare-work accent the track nicely, trapping the listener along this journey.

This is definitely one track and EP you will not want to miss. Pick up a copy when it drops September 22nd on Brobot Records.
