Clap! Clap!’s global rhythms on “(S) Serendipity” will have you moving

Clap ! Clap! is a pseudonym used by Italian jazz virtuoso & multi-instrumentalist Cristiano Crisci, with which Crisci combines his affinity for world/afro-beat drum rhythms with his electronic production expertise in order to create globe-spanning soundscapes that transcends genre. When the producer released his 19-track debut album Tayi Bebba on Black Acre Records last year, it was lauded on one of the most inventive electronic releases of recent memory due to it's wide range of global influences and it's seamless blend of Footwork, Hip-hop, Jazz, & House sounds.

Clap has recently announced the follow-up to Tayi in the form of a new six song EP entitled SIMPLE, which will apparently draw rhythmic inspiration from Inuit tribes of Alaska, Italian folk songs, and more. The first single off of the project is titled "(S) Serendipity" and is one of the producer's most infectious compositions yet. It opens up with a barrage of native drum beats before it flawlessly transforms into a UK bass spectacle. Check out the single below and make sure to peep Clap!
