At this point, Washington, DC-based duo GEMS have made a big impression with a small number of songs, having only released a few singles and EPs. A full-length album has been eagerly anticipated for quite some time, and they've finally announced that Kill the One You Love will be out October 30th on Carpark Records. "Living as a Ghost" was the LP's first single, and you can now stream another new track, "Tangled Memories," below. Both tracks use airy guitar lines, electronic beats and catchy hooks to find a nice balance between Phantogram and Beach House. Catch GEMS on tour with Autre Ne Veut this fall, dates are below.
