Blending genres like jazz, psychedelia, and soul into a chilled out electronic base, IO has a unique sound that is certainly memorable and distinct.
Their new single "Lotus Land" takes on a lounge or trip-hop style, sounding a bit like Saint Etienne, Portishead, or Brazilian Girls. With a few releases under their belt, "Lotus Land" sees the duo growing into their sound. It's easily one of there best singles to date.
