Anna Lunoe and Chris Lake team up on a “Stomper”

Two of house music's biggest proponents have collaborated on a massive track that was teased just this week and released today via Ultra Music, the label which both artists call a frequent home.

The first artist is Australia's Anna Lunoe. Breaking into the big time in the dance scene with her All Out EP, her funky, garage-influenced grooves are unforgettable and usually have just as addictive vocals to match her laid back persona. Her last collaboration with Sleepy Tom, along with this one, continues to build her unique, unifying brand of house that continuously gives a nod to the past and the future in style.

We've been seeing a lot from Chris Lake lately, from funky pop free downloads, to remixes and other collaborations as well. If there's anything definitive we can say about his 2015, it's that he's been building his brand of production style in an acute manner, and we know to look forward to see what he's got in store next.

The collaboration between Lunoe and Lake is called "Stomper," which is actually a great way to describe the powerful punching beat to many of their solo tracks. Totgether, it means an homage to house's acid and tech roots, with notes of 808, funky chords and of course, Lunoe's infectious vocals tying the whole track together. It's jackin and energetic, to say the least.
