Cafuné's new track will help you "Fall Asleep Slow" [Premiere]

CAFUNÉ (pronounced ka-FOO-nay) is an indie-electronic duo that was formed last summer in Brooklyn, New York. The duo, which consists of producer Noah Yoo and vocalist/guitarist Sedonna Schat, draw equally from the post-punk revival groups of their childhood as well as their dance-music contemporaries. The name the duo brandishes is a Portuguese verb used to describe the act of fondling someone's hair. That said, you can probably ascertain the vibes and subject matter of the Brooklyn-based duo's new single, "Fall Asleep Slow."

“Fall Asleep Slow” is an upbeat, yet chilling, track that tackles the state of being lonely and uncertain of one's future and self. When I listen to the electro-pop track, I can't help but think of the visuals from the popular anime Sword Art Online as the characters are constantly grappling with being lonely in a digital world while also dealing with the uncertainty that they may never escape it. With that in mind, "Fall Asleep Slow" is a summertime track tinged with the despair that we all feel from time to time.

Take a listen to “Fall Asleep Slow” below and be sure to keep it locked to EARMILK for all things CAFUNÉ in the future.
