Navid Izadi isn't "Messin" around [Premiere]

With bragging rights as a talented singer, rapper, producer and DJ, Los Angeles based Navid Izadi is somewhat of a Swiss army knife within the music scene. With previous releases on labels such as Soul Clap Records and Double Standard, his effortlessly sexy brand of house music is one that has gained him loyal followers from all corners of the globe. Despite the theme of "Messin," his latest release on Wolf + Lamb, being largely about promiscuity, Navid stays very much loyal to his signature sound that has served him so well in the past.

A combination of gorgeous 90's synths set the scene of a humid yet starry middle eastern night as a chunky bass line offers out a hand to walk you through the records rich narrative. Seductive vocals from Body Language's Angelica Bass make an insincere plea of innocence whilst earnest responses from Navid Izadi himself portray a man who is at the end of his tether. Exotic percussion brings to life the woman in question as you see a beautiful, jewellery adorned princess that you can't help but forgive as the track slowly wraps you round its finger. It's sunset house music at its very best and you'll be able to add it to your collection from July 20th.
