Both of the artists involved in this project – DJ Danny Diggz and rapper TINAMINA – mean serious business, and it shows on this new twerkin' remix of her original track "Jello," released today. These two are clearly out to make waves, as Diggz specializes in twerk style remixes like this and landed a spot on Diplo's Random White Dude Be Everywhere LP. It's impossible not to have heard one of his remixes in some club somewhere. As for TINAMINA I'd say that we've got a new "Who's that girl?" on our hands.
Justine Ok was hand-picked for the latest twerk remix since she's the brainchild behind this new tongue in cheek dance floor anthem. Listening to the track it'd be impossible to know that Ok is actually Korean and that's part of what makes her MC stylings so special. TINAMINA is a real persona for New York twerkin' city, who combines the bouncy aesthetics of K-Pop with hip-hop, latina influence, rap and electronic music.
