Brighton-based band Oslo Parks has always done a great job at injecting a little disco into their style of indie pop. The duo, comprised of musician/producers Rob Flynn and Ian Booth, generally floats between sounding similar to bands like Metronomy or Junior Boys—that cross between alternative and synth pop. Their latest single “Slipping Away” has this beautiful haziness surrounding these beachy guitars and muted disco vibes. Soft, breezy vocals perfectly top off the mood to everything. I imagine listening to this one seaside or maybe driving with nothing but clear roads and sunny skies. Whatever is going on, it all just feels right listening to this.
