DEF Bananas brings "Something New" to the table

New Jersey's DEF Bananas dropped a monster single a couple months back with "Turn The Lights Down," and their newest jam, "Something New," takes things to a whole 'nother level. The stylistically diverse hip hop trio absolutely murks the beat with their signature witty bars and the music video, directed by Studio APA, is…well…BANANAS!

The ridiculous, drumline-esque instrumental is produced in-house by Kam Dela Coopsta VII, who you can also find ripping the track's second verse. But while the organic drums and hyped-up horns make you wanna get your Dougie on, the catchy hook and clever punchlines are also packed with plenty of gusto.

Ultimately, DEF Bananas exudes a positive vibe that's hard to find in today's hip hop scene and we're super giddy about their next drop. Feel free to purchase "Something New" on iTunes and check them out on Twitter for more updates on their musical exploits!
